The AWARD WINNING Clinton Middle School!

The AWARD WINNING Clinton Middle School! This summer Clinton Middle School was awarded the Diplomas Now Middle School of the Year. This award recognizes the hard work and achievement our school has made in the last two years to keep students on track to graduate.

Clinton Middle School was also the winner of a 2013 Partnership School Award from the National Network of Partnership Schools (NNPS) at Johns Hopkins University. This award recognizes the work of parents, teachers and staff to support parents in helping students be successful.
Clinton Middle School's Second Annual Winter Festival!!
On January 26, 2013, City Year at Clinton Middle School also sponsored our Second Annual Winter Festival on the Clinton MS Field! We were fortunate to get a sunny day of games and activities for over 400 members of the Clinton Community. Students and parents were able to participate in team-building and confidence building games, visits with guests from community-based organizations and different high schools, listen to the School Band, and watch parents and students perform a dance with Diavolo. The day was packed full of fun, food, and prizes for participation!
Clinton Middle School Celebrates Successes!!
On January 25, 2013, Clinton Middle School kicked off 2013 with celebrations of successes from the Fall Semester 2012. Students participated in an assembly in which Certificates were distributed to students with Straight As, students on the honor Roll, and students with perfect attendance. We distributed 36 Straight As Certificates, 110 with a 3.5 and above Honor Roll certificates, and 98 with a 3.0+ Honor Roll certificates and 284 Perfect Attendance Certificates. All students in all grade levels were treated to a concert by performers A Million Pieces, with lead singer Graham Fenton who played Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys, and the Juan Pablo Band, a crowd favorite for the day. We also sponsored a Free Dress Day for our 542 students who had Advanced or Proficient on at least one periodic assessment for Assessment #2 in ELA, Math, Science or Social Science.
